Step 1: Logging In and Getting Oriented
To begin, open your browser and go to the Omega Pro login page. Enter your username and password, then click Login. If you're on a personal device, tick Remember Me for faster access next time. Once logged in, you'll see the main dashboard. Take a moment to look at the navigation bar at the top—this is your gateway to every major feature: CRM, Shape Library, Quotes, Dashboard, and Support.

If you ever get lost, click the Omega Pro logo to return to the home page.
Step 2: Adding Your First Customer
Let's start by building your customer database. Click Omega CRM in the navigation menu. On the CRM page, you'll see a list of customers (which may be empty if you're just starting out) and a button labelled Add Customer.
Click Add Customer. A form will appear. Fill in the company name, contact name, phone number, and email address. The address is optional but recommended for future reference. When you're done, click Save Customer. Your new customer will now appear in the list below.
Why this matters
Every quote and project in Omega Pro is linked to a customer. Keeping this information accurate ensures smooth quoting and follow-up.
Try searching for your customer using the search bar above the table. You can also edit or delete customers using the buttons next to each entry.
Step 3: Exploring and Using the Shape Library
Next, let's look at the Shape Library. Click Shape Library in the navigation. Here you'll find a grid of pre-defined steel components and custom shapes. Click on any shape card to view its details.
Adjust the dimensions using the input fields—notice how the preview updates in real time. This lets you quickly configure parts to match your project's requirements. When you're ready, you can add this shape directly to a quote (we'll do this in the next step).

Step 4: Creating a Quote from Start to Finish
Now, let's generate a quote. Click Omega Quote in the navigation. You'll see a tabbed interface—make sure you're on the Quoting System tab.
Set the Quote Details: The system will auto-generate a quote ID and set today's date. Use the customer search box to select the customer you added earlier. Their details will fill in automatically.
Add Items: Click Add from Shape Library to insert a part you configured earlier, or Add Custom Part to enter details manually. For each item, fill in the part number, material, dimensions, weight, quantity, cost, and margin. The system will calculate totals for you.
Review and Finalise: Check the totals at the bottom—subtotal, VAT, and grand total. When you're happy, click Create Quote. You'll see a preview and can download a PDF or send it to your customer.
How totals are calculated
Each line: (Cost × Quantity) × (1 + Margin/100)
VAT is automatically added at 20%.
If you need to edit or duplicate a quote, use the Open Quotes tab. You can also track which quotes have been accepted or declined.
Step 5: Analysing Your Data in the Dashboard
Click Dashboard in the navigation to see your business performance at a glance. The dashboard shows key metrics: total customers, total quotes, revenue, average quote value, conversion rate, and margin. Use the filters at the top to focus on specific dates, customers, or quote statuses.
Scroll down to explore interactive charts—hover for details, and use the filters to drill into trends. This is where you'll spot opportunities to improve your quoting process and grow your business.
